Phone Holders are Coming!

Since I've opened my store I've consistently been asked by my friends to make phone holders. Well, that and phone cases, but unfortunately trying to support all the different makes and models out there makes apparel look easy. But phone holders? Yeah, now THAT I can do! But first I had to find a manufacturer.

Luckily for me, while talking to the rep of the company that makes my notepads, she mentioned that they also make phone holders! I was super excited because finding a new manufacturer is a lot of work, and a bit scary, so going with someone you know and has a proven quality record is WAY easier, so phone holders suddenly jumped to the top of my priority list!

What's another great thing about my journey to making phone holders? I don’t need to do a ton of new design and I can use my existing artwork. But which one should I make first? That ended up being the tough part! Normally I try to produce a small order of a couple of designs, test the manufacturer, and test the market. But in this case, I knew the manufacturer, and based on all the requests, I definitely felt there was demand. 

So as I combed through all the possibilities I narrowed it down to 20 possible designs. But that’s way too many right? I had to narrow it down more, didn’t I? Nah, I just went crazy and decided to do them all! 

They sent me back prelim designs and I worked with them on colors and sizes until we had settled on the following designs:

With the designs all approved it was off to the manufacturer!
