Lanyard looking a little dingy? Keep it looking fresh and new! Here's how:
A soak in a bowl or sink will probably do the trick. Use a little detergent to soak them for 15-30 minutes. Use a brush to lightly scrub any stains. Rinse well and air dry.
You can also use your washing machine! Pretreat with spray and wash if needed. Use a garment bag so they don't get lost in the washing machine. Wash in cool water. Hang to dry.
Important Dos and Don'ts:
Do remove any ID badges, keys, pins, or plastic pouches before washing.
Do air dry your lanyard completely out of direct, hot sunlight to prevent fading.
Don't put lanyards in a clothes dryer, as high heat can melt synthetic fibers or shrink fabric.
Don't use harsh bleach or strong chemicals that can ruin printed logos.
